This Grilled Gouda Zucchini Sandwich is a great way to enjoy creamy Gouda cheese and soft zucchini slices between two pieces of crispy sourdough bread. It's a great lunch or dinner choice for both meat eaters and cheese lovers.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 medium zucchini, thinly sliced
- 4 slices of Gouda cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set a grill or grill pan over medium heat to get it hot
Put olive oil on one side of each slice of sourdough bread
Put a slice of Gouda cheese on one slice of bread that has been oiled side down
Then add thinly sliced zucchini, another slice of Gouda cheese, and finally another slice of bread that has been oiled side up
Do it again for the second sandwich
Start by heating up the grill or grill pan
Then, put the sandwiches on it
The bread should be grilled for three to four minutes on each side, or until it turns golden brown and the cheese melts
Take it off the grill and let it cool down a bit before you serve it
Cut each sandwich in half across the middle, and serve hot
